Having reimagined this event in 2020 in just 10 days as the global pandemic crashed into Australia, we were engaged again in 2022 to ensure that this unique hybrid event for over 3,500 physical guests was executed to meet the global event & broadcast standards of Salesforce.

Bringing two formats together requires twice the planning.
Historically we have separated this show across 2 Technical Directors based on physical layout. However, with the hybrid format, it was necessary to separate physical and broadcast across 2 Technical Directors, with just the right amount of overlap for effective planning. This allowed equal focus with rapid development across 2 completely different mediums, being executed within the same venue. One being an immersive presentation stage, the other being a sharp livestream. Both benefiting from our design touches across rigging, video, LED and audio.

Reaching the audience.
A reduced event run time (both live & broadcast) yielded great results, with more than double the attendance anticipated. Live music is always a welcome addition for us, and no doubt influenced attendance. Whilst COVID made 2 more attempts to spoil the party (one Technical Director and our E2 Operator were both isolated on show day) we were able to deliver the show thanks to contingency planning and incredible supplier teams onsite.
